The Dragon Rose Project’s ‘Mumbai Star’, a vibrant dance musical presented by Aadyam Theatre, will be staged in Mumbai this month, following the shows in June. At the heart of this story is Dev, a spirited dancer from a quaint coastal town in Maharashtra, who arrives in Mumbai with a burning passion to make it big. He auditions for Mumbai Star, a dance competition that could change the trajectory of his life. The musical play ‘Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela’, which presents different stages of Lord Krishna’s divine journey is returning in Mumbai this month. In a Guru Purnima-special presentation, celebrated singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan will take the stage at the show ‘Parampara - The Joy of Music by Shankar Mahadevan’ along with his sons Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan, and other protegees. The event – an ode to the guru-shishya paramapara – will feature a blend of film and Indo-fusion music.
