Here's something that will bring cheer to parents and kids, especially from far-flung suburbs on the Western side The Flying Elephant Kids Story Market will be organising a two-day weekend event of storytelling and shopping at a mall in Malad.

Kaishiki Nrityabhasha’s dance ballet, Saggy Baggy

Participants can expect to soak in several interesting performances, including Kaishiki Nrityabhasha's dance ballet, Saggy Baggy; ventriloquist Vignesh Pande's storytelling act using his puppet and a student-backed performance by young talent and the teachers of Helen O' Grady International. There will also be storytelling workshops by Small Tales, and storytelling performances by the Flying Elephant Storytellers. To spice things up, a curated set of shopping experiences on kiddie-themed products will also be on display.

This apart, pre-primary kids will be able to sign up for an inter-school storytelling competition and fancy dress competition. Loads of prizes are up for grabs for parents and children at quizzes and games. There's also plenty of street food that is bound to be a huge draw among kids.
