Calligraphy with a flat brush
As an art form, calligraphy has its roots in the ancient scriptures of the world. It is not just a stylised form of writing, but something that requires proper knowledge and regular practice. Calligraphy is a handy skill for various purposes — from wedding cards to logo designs. If you have been interested in learning this lettering art, sign up for a workshop. Expert Mira Vara will guide you on calligraphy using a flat brush. You will require flat brush no 2 or 4 or 6, a single-line notebook, an ink bottle, a palette, water, and a rough cloth or tissue paper.

Introduction to found poetry
One of our favourite onscreen teachers John Keating (played by Robin Williams) said: “Poetry. Beauty. Romance. Love. These are what we stay alive for”. So if you are someone who is fascinated by poetry and want to practise the art yourself, consider a workshop by Shloka Shankar, a freelance writer and poet. It will introduce you to the concept of found poetry -- a type of poetry created piecing together words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them. For this workshop, you will require newspapers/magazines/old books/text books/ e-books, black marker, photo editing app, paints, crayons, bookshelf access, scissors and glue.
