The Streets-2014 is an event organised by The Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College in association with Beat Twisters. The Mumbai level street dance competition is being held on the occasion of International Dance Day, today.

Street dancing refers to dance styles including Bboying that didn’t develop in dance studios and are practiced in open spaces such as streets, parties, etc.
This is the second edition of The Streets-2014; their inaugural event was held at High Street Phoenix last year. The elimination round for this edition of the event was held at Carter Road, Bandra on April 26 and the Final Battle will be held today.
The best crews from Mumbai and winners of national level street dancing competition will be participating in this event. The judges for the event are Ruel, B-boy Venum and other personalities from the street dancing fraternity.
The organisers have also tied up with the Indian Bboying Federation for the event.
So, put on your dancing shoes and celebrate this day dedicated to dance, street style.
