Embroidered Graphic Novel

Learning a new art is always something one looks forward to.

One such thing that caught our eye this week is the Embroidered Graphic Novel Workshop by theatrical costumier Susie Vickery.

Vickery, who has also worked with women’s handicraft groups across Nepal, Tibet, China, India, Burma and Gaza, will teach different techniques of embroideries, appliqué work and designing the layout of your graphic novel story using your own memories.

For this, participants will have to get personal photographs (which are photocopied or transferred on fabric) based on which they can to create their own story.
