Do as your favourite characters do
At the AXN Experience Zone, you can engage in fun activities and take pictures with some of your favourite TV actors like Sherlock, Heisenberg (Breaking Bad), and Dexter. Oh, and while you’re at it, stand a chance to win cool goodies.
More than a ringside view
Ever wanted to make an entrance just like a WWE superstar? The WWE Zone will feature a grand stage, complete with a huge LED wall that will allow you to select your favourite WWE wrestler’s entrance music and make your way down a specially created ramp.
Become Iron Man
You can step into Tony Stark’s suit (virtually, of course) for a fun, augmented reality experience at the Marvel Zone. Once in position, calibrate the suit and test the repulsor systems by shooting airborne targets. There’s also stuff in store for Doctor Strange fans.
Potterheads, assemble
Have you always wanted to be a part of the magical Harry Potter universe? Well, here’s your chance. This year’s edition of the Mumbai Comic Con will feature a first-of-its-kind Wand Master Training Booth by Warner Bros, where you can learn to use a wand to create official spells. At the end, you get to take home a video of your experience.
Play the latest games
Gaming enthusiasts, don’t be disappointed, as you can try out some of your favourite games such as Counter-Strike or give one of the newest games a shot at the Nodwin Gaming Zone.
What else?
Cosplay like a pro
This is your chance to dress like your favourite character. Your pick need not be restricted to comic books or graphic novels; movies, anime and games, all count. Each day, one cosplayer will win a cash prize of '50,000 and get to compete at the Indian Championships of Cosplay.
Pick up cool comic books
Twelve new comic books will be launched at Mumbai Comic Con. Look out for Fanboys, a tale of three comic buffs, and Black Mumba, a collection of short stories set in Mumbai. You can also buy superhero merchandise (pictured below) at one of the many stalls set up at the venue.
Meet Bobby Singer
There will be meet-and-greets with international personalities like Jim Beaver, who starred as Bobby Singer on Supernatural, as well as renowned artists and illustrators Cameron Stewart, Edwin Huang, and Dan Goldman.
