One of our favourite PC games while growing up was Rollercoaster Tycoon, where we’d let our imagination run wild and build different kinds of attractions in our own theme park, including long-winding rollercoasters. Recently, we felt as if we were in the middle of that game when we recently tried Finger Coaster, a Virtual Reality rollercoaster ride at Smaaash.

Here, we had to draw our own rollercoaster track on a screen. We tried the wackiest one, with loads of twists and turns. Then, we were asked strap up in a rollercoaster seat and wear Oculus glasses that transported us into a setting of an actual theme park with the track, just as we had drawn, visible in front of us.
In the next minute or two, we felt a surge of adrenaline as we zoomed high and low, swerved to the left and right and even turned upside-down. Honestly, a few screams escaped our throats as well. This turned out to be the perfect escape for time-strapped rollercoaster junkies like us.
