A special screening of the web series 'Chutzpah' was hosted by the Maddock Films at their office in Santacruz, Mumbai. The show premiere on SonyLIV on July 23. Elnaaz Norouzi dressed in a tied down crop top, green jacket and denim was all smiles as she arrived for the screening of her show. She plays an interesting character in the show called Wild Butterfly. As interesting as it sounds, she portrays the role of a webcam star.
Manjot Singh gives a double thumbs up to the photographers as he arrived for the special screening of his show Chutzpah. Living up to the title, the new-age web show ‘Chutzpah’ highlights the relevance of the internet and social media in everyone’s life, which has caught the fancy of the viewers.
Varun Sharma also attended the special screening of 'Chutzpah' in Santacruz. In a recent interview talking about the significance of the title, Varun said, "The title 'Chutzpah' perfectly fits the show because it features a lot of craziness, wackiness and madness and shows to what extent can people go in their respective journey to seek validation. The quirkiness is very rightly captured in the title 'Chutzpah'."
The show's director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba talking about the title revealed, "Initially, the show had an English title. When I had narrated the script to Dinesh Vijan, he loved the narrative but we all wanted to have a catchy title. That’s when I started thinking and out of nowhere 'Chutzpah' came to my mind. When I bounced it off immediately to my co-writer and Dinesh, I got a very positive response. The cast also liked the title." Elnaaz Norouzi in a recent interview with mid-day talked about her role in the show and said, "I haven’t heard a script like 'Chutzpah' before. I am happy that people are going in that direction and especially producers like Maddock who take that step and create something like this which is so relevant. The web show features relevant stories all over the world. I was happy and I felt that I need to be a part of a script like this. I was a little worried thinking how will I be able to do this. There were obvious apprehensions of playing a cam girl. But since it was Maddock and Mrighdeep sir, I knew it will be done nicely and it won't look bad or sleazy. And that’s why I trusted them."
