Aftab Shivdasani has joined the cast for the second edition of the web show Special Ops

While the first season of Special Ops, featuring actors like KayKay Menon, Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Vipul Gupta and others went on to become popular, Karan Tacker has joined the cast of Special Ops 1.5. The show is produced by Shital Bhatia and directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair.

Aftab told mid-day.com, “I remember messaging Neeraj sir and saying I loved the show and would love to work with him at some point. When they conceptualized Special Ops 1.5 there was an opportunity and I got a call from his casting director who explained the show and character and I said I’m on. Special Ops 1.5 is bigger in terms of scale and dwells more into characters as well. Mine is one such character, I’ve tried to contribute as much as I could to the Himmat (played by Kay Kay Menon) story. I hope people don’t get disappointed on the 12th of November.”
