South actor Raashi Khanna has been roped in for Shahid Kapoor’s digital debut. On Monday, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s web show kicked off in Goa. Khanna, who is seen in Telugu and Tamil films, featured in the John Abraham-starrer Madras Cafe (2013).

Kapoor shared a photograph from the set and wrote, “Welcome on board and thanks for letting me be part of your selfie.” Khanna replied, “Why are you hiding? Am I so intimidating? I will make sure you are seen half only in all our scenes.” They have already started teasing each other; the shoot should be a fun ride.

Speaking about the web show, a source told mid-day that Shahid Kapoor has allotted six months to it. "He will begin shooting in the second week of January in Mumbai, and the project is likely to wrap up in June. Shahid will execute some high-octane action scenes in the series. Never before has Shahid allotted so many days for a project."
