Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, has often made headlines. Known for being her unapologetic and candid self, the young influencer has gained a lot of haters and fans alike. Nevertheless, she continues to shine irrespective. Recently, she was seen on the reality show The Traitors, wherein once again the world got to see Apoorva Mukhija being herself as she navigated through the game of lies. We recently got a chance to chat with her, and here’s what she had to share with mid-day.

Apoorva Mukhija shares the regret she has from the game

We asked her if, given a chance, would she accept the offer to become a traitor, and she replied, “10,000 per cent, I think one of my only regrets from the game is that I did not get to see that side of the game. I have played a very unidirectional game, somebody like Harsh has played both ends, where he was an innocent, he was a good innocent, then he became a traitor, so I feel like it would have been a good experience to have.”

She adds, “Had I been good at it, absolutely not! I think I would have been exactly like Harsh, that the next day I would have come and given away everything. If I had lied, I would have told everyone that I lied yesterday. I don't think I would have been a good traitor, but I would have 100% taken the offer because as I said, I did not think that I would win; I am generally not a competitive person. Like, I don't want to win anything in life, I don't want to be number one at anything, honestly. I believe in slow growth, just keep increasing slowly and enjoy”

Apoorva hits back at accusations of being called rude

Apoorva has often been accused of being rude. Multiple contestants, including Uorfi, Sudhanshu and others on the show as well as in interviews outside, called her rude for the way she spoke to others, especially the senior contestants on the show. When asked about her take on those accusations, she says, “My take on that is that I have a lot of information about the game and I think, unlike other people in the show, I have played the game with strategy, with bluffing, with manipulation and with lying. So I have a lot to speak about, other people don't.”

Giving a strong reply to them she says, “So they can continue speaking about me in 80% of their interviews and they will get the headlines, they will get the thumbnails and they will get the views.”
