What is the perfect follow-up to glorious pre-wedding festivities and a dreamy shaadi? Well, if you’re Ali Fazal, guns and gore. Almost a month after tying the knot with Richa Chadha the actor has resumed work on the third season of crime drama Mirzapur in Lucknow. “Despite it being one of his biggest personal milestones, Ali made sure that he didn’t take too long a break from the Mirzapur shoot. He had finished a chunk of his portions by September-end before heading to Delhi to kick off the celebrations,” says a source.

In Fazal’s absence last month, the unit of the Amazon Prime Video crime drama — led by director Gurmmeet Singh — continued shooting crucial portions with actors Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Vijay Varma. Fazal aka Guddu bhaiyya, who joined the team earlier this week, has a 30-day schedule lined up across Lucknow and Delhi. One hears that the newlyweds will go on their honeymoon after he wraps up the web show by early December. The source adds, “Post their wedding, the couple haven’t had the time to take off on their honeymoon. So, they have planned a quick getaway in December, after which Ali will head overseas for an international project. The details of the offering are being kept under wraps for now.”
