The college gang from Hostel Daze
Although she doesn’t underplay the value of the experiences she has had early on in her life, she says that the dynamic nature of showbiz implies that not all that she learnt as a child actor in 2009 is relevant today. “I am adjusting. I have grown up in this industry, and while I have learnt a lot of things, I will not say I have immense knowledge.”
Currently, Channa is being offered several projects set in colleges, and revolving around the life of teenagers. “I am neither too old, nor too young. Directors are hence confused [about the roles they should cast me in]. I have played the part of a girl [next-door], and want to step out of that now.”
