Rubina Dilaik: Be it winning Bigg Boss 14, slamming those who trolled her for gaining weight, her hit music videos or her Bollywood debut Ardh and most recently sister Jyotika's engagement, Rubina Dilaik was always in the news throughout 2021.

Arjun Bijlani: Arjun Bijlani won Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 despite tough competition from co-contestants. Along with the trophy, he won a car and prize money of Rs 20 lakh. The actor is currently in the news after being Covid-19 positive.
Erica Fernandes: Erica first made news after her show co-starring Shaheer Sheikh, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Pyar Ke Aise Bhi made a comeback with season three. The show was shot in the midst of the pandemic at Siliguri. Later in an Instagram post, she wrote about being disappointed over the changes her character Sonakshi underwent in the latest season. Erica also called out the makers for being hypocrites and blaming one person as the show goes off air.
Hina Khan: Hina was in the news for her hit music videos and also walking the ramp at various fashion shows. What came as a shock was the actress lost her dad died due to cardiac arrest on April 20. The actress who was on an outdoor shoot rushed to Mumbai to attend his funeral. Three months after the death of her father Aslam Khan, Hina Khan remembered him in a post on Instagram, that made fans emotional.
Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan: Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan the lead pair of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai quit the show in September. Mohsin and Shivangi had worked on the show for more than five years. Harshad Chopda, Karishma Sawant and Pranali Rathod are currently seen in lead roles on the show. Shivangi is currently seen in Balika Vadhu.
Rakhi Sawant: After two years of speculation whether she is really married or not, Rakhi introduced her husband Ritesh Singh on Bigg Boss 15. While Ritesh’s journey in the house didn’t last too long, he was slammed by host Salman Khan for misbehaving with Rakhi.
Star weddings: From Shraddha Arya who married Rahul Sharma to Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma, the year was filled with a lot of big telly weddings. The other couples whose wedding has been making news recently include Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Sanjay Gagnani and Poonam Preet, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar, among others.
Star Parents: A lot of popular TV actors embraced parenthood this year, the list includes Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh who turned parents to son Sufi and Kishwer Merchnat and Suyyash Rai who welcomed Nirvair . Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy became parents to Aarav, Mohit Malik and Addite Malik welcomed Ekbir, Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor turned parents to Anaya, among others.
