As India celebrates its 73rd Republic Day today, actor Vidyut Xavier from Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, joins mid-day.com for a special conversation.

What are your thoughts and memories of Republic Day? 
Republic Day memories have always been about school. We used to have our sports day during Republic day celebrations. We hoisted the flag and would sing our national anthem and then compete in athletics, long jump, high jump etc. I have won many medals in school for my house.

Importance of the constitution…
The constitution allows coordination and assurance, on the other hand it can limit the power of the government as well.
