Speaking about the show and her favourite team, Usha Uthup mentioned, “Indian Pro Music League is an unbelievably marvellous and fantastic show with the country’s best talents going head-to-head in a never-seen-before competition. With all of my 51-years of singing, I’d like to tell each one of you all, give your best every single day and keep on singing because there is no other way to keep yourself happy. I've been doing that myself. Also, I’d like all of you to know that you all are fabulous singers, but since I am very close to Kolkata, I’ll be rooting for my favourite Bengal Tigers. With captains like Shaan and Aakriti, who I’ve known for so many years now, I feel this team is in the right hands. Honestly, it’s also a pleasure seeing young talents like Rituraj and Mismi who are just simply brilliant, but besides all of them is Nikhita, who I have seen growing up right in front of me. So, for all of you who are still not sure whom to support, team Bengal Tigers is gold and everyone should watch out for them."
Apart from Usha Uthup's special message, viewers will also get to witness team captains Shaan, Kailash Kher, Javed Akhtar and Mika Singh pay an emotional tribute to late Dilip Kumar. While all these heartwarming moments will surely melt your hearts, wait till you see the top four battle it out in the 'akhri daur' of this competition.
The show airs on Zee TV.
