What unique things do you see about Navratri 2022?
There's a different kind of excitement this year and also a feeling of gratitude in the air. That’s because, this year onwards, everyone can finally (once again) celebrate Navratri out in the open. There are no more worries of viruses or social distancing! That’s what makes ‘Navratri 2022’ festival unique.

Are you a dandiya person or garba?
I love both! I know all the steps in garba as well as dandiya (smiles).

Have you ever got hurt while playing dandiya?
I'm sure everyone has.

Have you learnt dandiya / garba from someone?
As an Indian, I feel we don't have to ‘learn’ garba dandiya. It comes naturally to us. Doesn’t it? (smiles)

Which is your all-time favorite dandiya song from Bollywood?
It has to be the ‘Shubharambh’ song, which is my all-time favourite. It has got such lovely beats and lyrics.

Do you fast during the nine days of Navratri?
If I am not working, then, yes… I do fast.

Do you follow the colour code for all the nine days?
I try to follow as much as I can. I find it interesting that everyone wears the same color on a particular day. I feel it brings us even more closer to each other.

What’s your take on accessories? Are you a minimal person or you prefer a ‘quintessential’ Navratri make up?
Depending on my outfit, I wear smart, but ethnic jewelry. During the ‘Navratri’ festival, I go all out and dress up. I give my eyes a nice deep look.
