The end is near

Over the last couple of weeks, a lot of drama has unfolded on Hamariwali Good News. In another twist in the tale, protagonist Renuka Tiwari, played by Juhi Parmar, will be killed in an explosion. “It is a creative call and I am in agreement with what is best for the show. I have played Renuka for over six months,” says the actor. But it won’t be long before she will be brought back to life in another turn of events.

Hamariwali Good News tackles a rather unconventional theme — a mature couple decide to bear a child for their son and daughter-in-law. The Zee TV show tells a story that captures the dynamics of the saas-bahu relationship in Indian society, through the story of daughter-in-law Navya (Srishti Jain) and her mother-in-law Renuka (Juhi). Shakti Anand essays Mukund, who is Renuka's husband and Navya's father-in-law.

Aniruddh Dave

Patiala Babes actor Aniruddh Dave is shooting in the outskirts of Bhopal for the web series, Moh Maya, co-starring Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik. The series also has two veteran actors of the industry Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik. Actress Tridha Choudhury, Akanksha Puri are also part of the series. “I am like a child on the set who wants to learn every detail about the craft from the veteran actors,” says Dave. He will also be seen in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Bell Bottom.

Aniruddh said, ”I am extremely happy and excited to start this project along with two veterans of our industry. I have worked with Satish Kaushik before in Tere Sang where he has directed me and also in Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti in which he was my co-star. Ons et I am like a child who wants to learn creative facts from these two versatile actors. I am away from my wife and son, missing them a lot. But at the end of the day, we do virtual calls so I can at least see them while talking.” Anuruddh is also eagerly waiting for his next Bell Bottom with Akshay Kumar which he has shot last year in the UK. Moh Maya is slated to release sooner this year.

The actor in an interview recalling the time he shot for Bell Bottom in the pandemic said, "It was a lot of fun shooting in UK. I got multiple Covid-19 tests done during that time. Every 10 days the entire cast and crew had to get tested for it. The production house made sure that we are safe. They created a bubble where no one could enter from outside. They took all the precautions. It was a good experience to work with them,” he added.

While shooting for the film Aniruddh saw a quieter England because of the pandemic. Sharing his experience, he said, "I missed the energy, the ambience which England is known for. Like seeing people everywhere, having coffee, enjoying Italian food. The place has such an artistic culture, people sell their craft, they perform for everyone. All that was much less then."
