It's National Pet Day and on the occasion, actor Pulkit Bangia has expressed his love towards his pet. The actor, who plays the role of Vikram in Apna Time Bhi Aayega, is a complete pet lover.

Talking about his love for his furry friend, Pulkit said, "I am a huge dog lover; so much so that I prefer dogs over people, honestly. Dogs have given me better company than people ever did. It has happened so many times that I went to a friend’s place and I end up spending most of my time with their pet, rather than the person sitting there. They are so lovable and have so much love to give that you will be bound to forget all your worries. Your stress is almost reduced next to nothing and they don’t even expect anything in return."

His 'Penny'

Pulkit feels everyone should adopt a dog once in their life. "I actually have two dogs, one at my hometown and one we just adopted recently. Initially, I wasn’t in favour of adopting a dog, because I wanted a large breed like a Husky, but my sister got a Chihuahua. But in just two days, I was already in love with her. She was just so adorable. Now, even when I’m at work I give my sister a video call just to talk to Penny since we’ve named her that."

His special advice

"My advice to everyone, just get a dog home, right now and you will see how much positivity and excitement they will bring to your otherwise mundane life."
