Meera says, "I just got the keys to my house and it's finally sinking. I have always dreamt about having my own house in Mumbai since the day I stepped into the city. And finally, I bought my own place that we will build from scratch and it is the happiest feeling. This is my first house in Mumbai. It's quite spacious with wonderful amenities. I have three balconies in my new home and I love balconies so much. They just have a different charm. With ample light streaming into the entire house from all corners."
Buying your own house in a city like Mumbai is not easy and Meera followed a long process to achieve it. She adds, "Of course, it's very expensive. I have been saving up for this house for almost 5 years now. There were times when I used to think of settling for a one-bedroom house but after saving for it, I bought this house. I would love to live forever in a very good area with a great space for my family. We are yet to do the interiors. My mom and I are designing the house on our own. Hopefully, it will radiate our vibes, quite happy and positive ones."
Meera has planned her space to be customised according to her taste. She says, "Everything is tailor-made. Every bit of furniture is handmade. All the walls are going to be done by me. The lights, lamps and chandelier are by me. I have scanned every corner of the city for the best options I could get for the house."
Meera wants to dedicate this new house to her family. She says, "The new house is dedicated to my family - my mom and my brother. God has been very kind to us and my family has been my constant support all along."
