Indian actor Ravi Dubey took to social media to share a heartfelt video featuring farmers expressing their admiration for his wife, Sargun Mehta, a celebrated actress in her own right. The video highlights a remarkable initiative where the farmers have planted 500 trees in Sargun's name, showcasing their deep respect and affection for the actress. These farmers had wished for a Punjabi actress to comment on their reel and Sargun replied to it in much excitement.

Ravi Dubey reshared a post originally by the RoundGlass Foundation, which documented this heartwarming tribute. The foundation's post read: "Sargun ji, we have planted 500 trees in your name, like we promised. It was such an honor to associate with you in this worthy cause. We have always loved you on the screen, and now we love you in person as well. Planting these saplings for you connected us to you for always. These saplings were planted in Harna village of Fatehgarh Sahib district.

The initiative, which took place in Harna village in the Fatehgarh Sahib district, not only underscores Sargun Mehta's popularity but also highlights her impact beyond the entertainment industry. The farmers' gesture reflects a deep sense of connection and gratitude, celebrating Sargun not just as an actress but as a person who inspires positive change.

Sargun made her film debut with the 2015 Punjabi historical romantic drama ‘Angrej’, directed by Simerjit Singh, where she portrayed the character of Dhan Kaur alongside Amrinder Gill as Angrej ‘Geja’.

Recently, she appeared in the movie 'Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri'. Alongside her husband, actor Ravi Dubey, Sargun serves as a producer for TV shows such as 'Junooniyat' and 'Dalchini'.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Sargun Mehta's hit Punjab film 'Saunkan Saunkne' is returning with the second film. Directed by Smeep Kang, the film also stars Ammy Virk and Nimrat Khaira. The second part, which is spelled as 'Saunkan Saunkanay', recently went on floors. 'Saunkan Saunkne’ was released in 2022. The film tells the story of Nirmal and Nasseb, a happily married couple who yearn to have a child after eight years of marriage. At the suggestion of her mother-in-law, Naseeb persuades Nirmal to have a second marriage with her younger sister Kirna, and the drama unfolds.
