Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy to unite on screen for first time post marriage

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy create on-screen magic with Zee Music's latest single that was shot in Kashmir.

Actors Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy, who got married in 2018, will be seen romancing on camera in the music video of an upcoming track shot in Kashmir. The song is being shot in the most romantic location on earth, Kashmir. Whilst their wedding was held in the equally regal Tijara Fort in Rajasthan, this seems to take their romance ahead as they are apparently filming in remote areas near the picturesque Srinagar. Gautam Rode talking about the song said, “It’s very exciting to work with Pankhuri on this track. Our admirers have been eagerly waiting for us to do something together and this song is the perfect opportunity to surprise them.”

For Pankhuri, working with Gautam for the first time after marriage is a great experience. "It feels blissful to be shooting with Gautam for the first time after marriage and that too amidst the beauty of Kashmir. We are having the best time and hope that reflects on-screen and that people love the song," she said.

While details are under wraps, the actors have shot for the track in a remote location in Srinagar. On the work front, Gautam will soon be seen as Major Samar in the OTT film 'State Of Siege : Temple Attack'. The film is slated to release on July 9.

'State Of Siege: Temple Attack' is the second in the series that started with the eight-episode 'State of Siege: 26/11' last year. While the first was a digital series about the operation of the National Security Guards (NSG) following the 2008 Mumbai attacks, 'Temple Attack' trains focus on the terror strike on Akshardham Temple. On September 24, 2002, two armed men attacked the Swaminarayan Akshardham complex at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, killing 30 people and injured over 80. The NSG ended the siege a day later, killing both assailants. The show marks Akshaye's digital debut as an NSG officer and releases on July 9 on Zee5.
