Fans have been ensuring your show Shakti, and you, are trending on social media…
I have always maintained and continue to say that I am a fan of my fans. The amount of energy, love, support they give me and positivity they spread is amazing. One of the ways to see it is the characters you play are trending on social media. I’m absolutely grateful for their love. I’ve given my life to this character Saumya in ‘Shakti.’ I wanted to approach it with a clean slate and understand how the writers and makers have created her. I continued to learn as the character was building up and growing.
When do we see you on TV again?
The medium does not matter to me. I’m looking for a good script I haven’t attempted before. I would love to get back on TV with a good character.

Your music videos with husband Abhinav Shukla have been well-received, will fans get to see you together onscreen anytime soon?
We are extremely grateful for the way people shower love on Abhinav and me together. Our projects have been one of a kind where we have been able to exhibit our acting skills. Right now, we don’t have anything together onscreen but given the opportunity we will definitely team up again.

Yes, it made me nostalgic. As you must have noticed in the live, I was looking at the walls and absorbing the vibe of the house. My message for Divya is – Best wishes for the future and may she carry this victory in a positive and graceful way. May she inspire more youth to strive for the best, she can create something great for herself and people who follow her.
