Ektaa Kapoor's supernatural shows

It's a fact that Ektaa Kapoor has given us some of the best Saas Bahu daily soaps, but we cannot deny that she has changed the idea of serials with her supernatural serials. On Ektaa Kapoor's birthday, here are 5 shows you might want to watch:

Naagin - Talking about Ektaa Kapoor and her supernatural shows without mentioning Naagin is impossible. Kapoor started the Naagin franchise and introduced Mouni Roy as her leading lady. After that, she introduced many actresses as the leading faces of her Naagin franchise, including Surbhi Jyoti, Nia Sharma, Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Chandna, and the latest one being Tejasswi Prakash. The six-season-long show had a different story in each part

Pyar Kii Ek Kahaani - This is an Indian supernatural television series produced by Ektaa Kapoor that aired on STAR One from 18 October 2010 to 15 December 2011. The show, which was inspired by cult classics Vampire Diaries and Twilight Saga, is known to be Kapoor's most ambitious project.

Qayamat Ki Raat - Starring Karishma Tanna, Vivek Dahiya, Nirbhay Wadhwa, and Madhurima Tulli, the show is co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor and her mom Shobha Kapoor under the banner Balaji Telefilms. The story of the show revolves around a newly married couple caught in the web of black magic.

Kavach - The two-season-long horror series starred Mona Singh, Mahek Chahal, and Sara Khan in the first part, while the second part featured Deepika Singh, Namik Paul, and Vin Rana in the lead roles. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the first part follows the story of a married woman's struggle to save her husband from a spirit, while the second part is about a girl who wants to see the face of her future husband.

Brahmarakshas - This supernatural thriller was another one-of-a-kind show from Ektaa Kapoor’s production and featured two seasons, with Krystle D'Souza, Aham Sharma, and Parag Tyagi. It aired on Zee TV and received quite a positive response from the audience. It was loosely based on the fantasy thriller film Jaani Dushman and the western fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast.

The above-mentioned shows prove that Ektaaa knows what kind of supernatural daily soaps Indian audiences like to watch. The intriguing storylines, quirky takes, and some nail-biting scenes make these shows worth watching.
