Anupamaa Update: Babuji goes 'missing', Baa puts the entire blame on Anuj Kapadia

Will the New Year bring new problems or new solutions in Anupamaa's life is what remains to be seen

The day starts off with Babuji advising Anuj in his car about coming to terms with the situation and accepting Anupamaa the way she is, the same way in which she has accepted him the way he is. Babuji also emphasizes on the fact that, at this age, it's not easy to change anyone’s nature and behavior, something that Anuj wanted Anupamaa to do.

Back home, seeing Anupamaa sitting sadly in the house, Ankush offers her tea and politely advises her to ‘mend’ her relationship with Anuj. On the other hand, an extremely emotional Anuj hugs Babuji and tells him to take his car wherever he wants to go. Not wanting to disturb Anuj, Babuji gets down on the road itself and tells Anuj to proceed with his meetings. Anuj leaves Babuji on the road as he wanted to meet his friend and proceeds in his car for his meeting. Babuji, who is standing in the middle of the road to pick up his mobile phone, is unaware of a truck that’s coming from behind.

Realizing that Babuji is missing, everyone starts fanatically searching for him. Baa being the typical Baa, doesn’t think twice before calling Vanraj and tells him to come back home. ‘Fed’ with the information provided by Baa to him, an infuriated Vanraj cancels his New Year plans with Kaavya and rushes back home. Seeing him back home, Baa breaks down and puts the entire blame on Anuj, stating that he is the reason behind Babuji gone missing. Needless to say, Vanraj loses his cool over Anuj. What happens after that is an extremely volatile flaring of egos from all sides.

SPOILER ALERT: Once again, a volcano of anger and egos erupt at Anuj’s residence between Anuj and Vanraj. This time round, Anuj makes it loud and clear to Anupamaa before everyone that, even though he loves her seamlessly, there are a ‘few things’ that they need to ‘incorporate’ in the New Year.
