This didn’t go down very well with certain social media users who called her out for sharing such posts amid such crisis. One user commented in Hindi- “Tumhare ghar ki chat sahi salamat hai isiliye. (Just because the roof of your house is not damaged)” Another user trolled her by saying, “Are tokate cyclone me ud jayegi. (You will fly away in Cyclone Tauktae)”

On Twitter too, there were a number of users that called her out. One user wrote, “I’m cringing.” Another one stated, “Today we have a girlboss posing with (in?) a tree that fell because of the cyclone currently ravaging India’s west coast.” And one more wrote- “I'm a tree and I'm offended by this.”

Deepika Singh has always been an animal lover. During the lockdown, the actor took it on herself to feed strays. "I love animals and it is sad to see them suffer from no food. I feed them out of love, and I urge whoever can manage, to do their bit," says the actor.
