Vikram Bhatt's daughter Krishna is set to make her directorial debut with 'Untouchables', a 15-episode bilingual web series which will be made in Hindi and English. The young director, who grew up on a steady appetite of her father's movies, had an early introduction to the art of filmmaking.

"Untouchables is a courtroom drama, a thriller which has been written by dad. He will also feature in it, with this venture marking his first full-fledged role as an actor," Krishna, 22, tells mid-day.

Krishna, like her father, appears to be a stickler for details, as she says her script had to undergo multiple iterations before it got her approval. "I asked dad many questions related to the storyline and characters. He may have written many films, and I may be a novice, but, he kept reworking it until I was satisfied."

Shooting for the show, which features Srijeeta De and Anirudh Dave, has started in Madh Island. The decision to venture into the digital space, Krishna says, was fitting, given that the web world is "happening". "You can binge watch as per your convenience."
