Sunny Leone's biopic Karenjit Kaur leaks online

While the makers of Karenjit Kaur are yet to lodge a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell, they have roped in a piracy monitoring agency to control the damage

In another example of piracy wreaking havoc in the Indian entertainment industry, Sunny Leone's biopic, Karenjit Kaur - The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone, has become the latest web series to be leaked online.

While the makers of the show are yet to lodge a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell, they have roped in a piracy monitoring agency to control the damage.

Manish Aggarwal, business head of Zee5, the platform that streams the biopic, says, "Our content is DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected. The monitoring agency has been successful in bringing down 90 per cent of the piracy hit rate. We have blocked most of the domains that were streaming the show. Holistic action is being taken against the offenders."
