Aishwarya Sakhuja will be seen playing a very pivotal role in the first story of SAB TV's new show 'Khidki'. The actress will make a comeback to fiction after a brief hiatus and the character that she will be portraying will be completely different from what her previous roles. Aishwarya will be essaying the role a boxer named Anju.

The first story titled 'Anju ki shaadi' is the story of Rajeev Mehta and Lubna Salim who are playing typical gujarati parents of three girls and young boy. Like every Indian parent, they too want to see their daughters get married and settled. Their biggest struggle is to get Anju (Aishwarya Sakhuja) the eldest daughter married so that the rest can follow suite.

Aishwarya Sakhuja who will be seen as Anju said, "My character Anju is a tomboy who loves her boxing gloves and is passionate about boxing. Anju is a very simple girl and the character is very unique in terms of looks. This is the first time that I am attempting something of this sorts and I hope that my fans will like the character."
