Delnaaz Irani in a candid chat talked about the new season of her chat show 'Real Women, Big Stories with Delnaaz Irani'

After launching her YouTube channel in February, Delnaaz Irani decided to take on a new role as a chat show host. It’s something the actor always wanted to do. Now, she is gearing up for a new season of 'Real Women, Big Stories with Delnaaz Irani'. Her intention is to share stories of women, who are giving their best in whatever circumstances they are in.

Delnaaz said, “I didn’t want to do any of that typical stuff with celebrities, which is loaded with fun and games. My search was for real-life achievers, who fight all odds and emerge triumphant. There will be no pretence and these women are going to talk their hearts out,” says Irani, who was last seen in Choti Sarrdaarni. The actor is synonymous with the comedy “so turning chat show host is a welcome break.” Known for her perfect comic timing, Delnaaz has recently garnered the audience's attention with her performance in shows like Choti Sarrdaarni or Adbhut Kahaniyan's Hijack.
In an interview with mid-day.com, she had shared that she wants to do characters that are interesting and leave an impact on the viewers. "I want to portray exciting characters. I always say comedy comes naturally to me, but besides comedy, I would love to do a negative character or play a conventional mom to the hero or the heroine in a social drama. I wouldn't mind doing a feel-good show wherein there are some characters which are like basic, they are neutral, they are neither negative nor positive, it could be a grey shade. I am open to all kinds of roles now, I don't want to stick to just one thing," the "Kal Ho Naa Ho" actress said. After doing over ten films and close to twenty-five TV shows including reality series as well, she admitted that it doesn't take her much time to shift from one character to another, in fact, once the camera is off she easily comes back to her real self."
