Speaking about how she has been celebrating the sucess of her debut Marathi film, Jiya said, "I visited multiple theatres in different locations. The last show in Pune was housefull. I met everubody and wished them a Happy New Year."
Saying that co-stars Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh are her favourite couple the actress added, "They are my favourite, they are adorable. Both of them are complete sweethearts. Genelia is the same onscreen and offscreen."
Recalling her journey in showbiz she said, "I was a super shy kid and got in acting because my mom asked me to give it a shot. I wouldn't tell people I'm an actor, I would say I am a student. It was years later that I gained confidence and knew I am a good performer."
Opening up about future plans she said, "Every oppurtunity is big and I want to work everywhere. I want to do Hollywood as well. I'm waiting for all these amazing oppurtunities to happen."
