SS Rajamouli announces animated series Baahubali: Crown of Blood
SS Rajamouli changed the entire landscape of Indian cinema when he created the Baahubali franchise. The first part, which took over half a decade to make, was released and made Prabhas a household name. The movie went on to generate exceptional profits, leading to a second part that surpassed even the first in breaking records.

Following the release of the Prabhas-starrer Baahubali, the question on everyone's mind was, "Baahubali ne Kattappa ko kyu mara?" Later, Baahubali 2 was released, captivating audiences with its grandeur and breaking numerous records, becoming everyone's favorite.
The demand for anything related to Baahubali increased, and soon people wanted more of the fantasy epic. It was reported that a Netflix series based on the life of Shivagami was in the works, but later reports suggested it was shelved. Now, it seems we are about to receive a new show from the world of Baahubali, as confirmed by the master himself.
SS Rajamouli has a treat for Baahubali fans, as the ace director has announced a new series, ‘Baahubali: Crown of Blood’, on Tuesday. The filmmaker, who helmed the two-part Baahubali films, took to X and shared a video announcing the title. Rajamouli also promised that the trailer for this animated series would be coming soon. The video announcement features the title of the series emerging from smoke, accompanied by the background voice of people chanting 'Baahubali'.
Sharing the video, Rajamouli wrote, “When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Baahubali: Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!”

This is not the first time SS Rajamouli has created an animated series based on his film. Earlier, in August 2017, Rajamouli released a four-season animated series titled "Baahubali: The Lost Legends". The series was released on Amazon Prime Video.
In the wake of its release, Baahubali shattered numerous records, not just in India but also on the international stage, including Japan, China, and major European countries. Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 earned about Rs. 1810 crores, cementing its status as the second highest-grossing film in the history of the Indian box office. Baahubali features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar.
