Telugu film superstar Mahesh Babu was seen attending a family wedding on Sunday night with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara. The actor was surrounded by his fans as he arrived for the ceremony in a grey t-shirt. He was seen sporting long hair and a stubble. Videos and pictures of Mahesh Babu spending time with his sister Manjul and Prabhas' aunt Shyamala Devi made their way to X.

In one of the videos shared by fans, Mahesh can be seen smiling wide as she was talking to his sister, Manjula. In the video, their sibling bond stands out as Manjula pulls Mahesh's long hair inquiring about the same. He pulls away and the duo burst out laughing.

In another video doing the rounds on social media, Mahesh Babu can be seen talking to Prabhas' aunt Shyamala. She clicked a picture with the actor and then proceeded to hug Namrata and Sitara.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri' completed 18 years of release. The film directed by Puri Jagannadh also starred Ileana D'Cruz in the lead. The film was a massive hit in Telugu film industry and was only beaten by SS Rajamouli's 'Magadheera' in 2009 at the box office. The film saw Mahesh play an undercover police officer who joins the mafia to eradicate the underworld from within. Pokiri was also remade in Tamil as 'Pokkiri' (2007), in Hindi as 'Wanted' (2009) and in Kannada as 'Porki' (2010).

Upcoming work:

Mahesh Babu was last seen on the big screen in the film Gunyur Kaaram directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film was released in Sankranthi this year. He will next be seen in SS Rajamouli's ambitious film. The jungle adventure drama has been scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad who also wrote 'Baahubali' and 'RRR'.  “It is being developed as a franchise like the Indiana Jones series. However, unlike that franchise, this movie is set in the present day, with the story deeply rooted in Indian culture, mythology and history, as Vijayendra Prasad and Rajamouli’s projects usually are. The first film will be shot not only in India and Africa, but various countries as the character will be shown travelling around the globe,” shared a source.
