Actor Darshan is under investigation for his suspected involvement in the Renukaswamy murder case. A recent development reveals that Darshan's shoes were found at his wife Vijayalakshmi's apartment, where he allegedly conducted a puja.


Police claim Darshan visited his wife's place after allegedly disposing of Renuka Swamy's body on June 9th.

According to a senior police officer cited in a Times of India report, Darshan disposed of the victim's body in the early hours of June 9th. Afterwards, he went to his wife's place in Hoskerehalli where he performed a puja with her. Following this, he travelled to Mysuru and was arrested on June 11th.

According to police sources cited in the report, Vijayalakshmi was called to Annapoorneshwari Nagar on Wednesday and questioned extensively for about five hours. She was asked about how Darshan's loafers ended up at her place and if anyone else had used them. The report indicated that Vijayalakshmi provided her statement and is expected to be considered a witness in the case.

The report also noted that Darshan's costume assistant, known as Raju from Attiguppe, had handed over Darshan's clothes and shoes to Vijayalakshmi after the incident.

Latest update on the Renukaswamy murder case: 

Just recently, Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi Darshan, has finally spoken up about the murder accusations against her husband. She has requested a court order to stop the media from sharing unverified information about the ongoing case.

Vijayalakshmi posted a picture of the injunction order on her Instagram and added a caption to it. “At the outset, I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased Sri. Renukaswamy. Alongside, The last few days have been full of anguish for Darshan, myself, my teenage son & all of Darshan’s friends, family & Fans.”

“With this order issued by the Honourable Court, I hope people will put to rest, some falsified information & untruths that were being spread across various media & social media platforms. I urge everyone to kindly publish only what is officially put out by the enforcement authorities. I have full faith in Ma Chamundeshwari & in our legal system. Let Justice Prevail,” she concluded.
