Allu Arjun speaks on his visit to Nandyal and says that he is not affiliated with any political party. He simply supports his people

Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun made a surprise visit to Nandyal with his wife Sneha Reddy to support YSRCP candidate and close friend Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. Post his visit, reports claimed that a complaint was filed against him, alleging a breach of the Model Code of Conduct.

Now, after several reports of the FIR and Allu Arjun supporting a party, breaking the code of conduct started circulating on social media, the Pushpa actor has put out a clarification.

Allu Arjun, in his clarification, shared, “Firstly, I want to clarify that I'm not affiliated with any political party. I remain neutral and support my people, regardless of their political affiliations. This includes my uncle Pawan Kalyan, whom I'll always stand by, along with my friend Ravi and my father-in-law, Mr. Reddy.” He further said, “I made a promise to my friend, Mr. Ravi, to support him, but I couldn't fulfill it last time. To keep my word, this time I went to Nandyal to support him.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. Last week, the makers unveiled the first single 'Pushpa Pushpa'.
Music director Devi Shri Prasad, who won a National Award for the music of 'Pushpa 1: The Rise', has again created this track. Devi Shri Prasad has roped in popular singers like Nakash Aziz, Deepak Blue, Mika Singh, Vijay Prakash, Ranjith Govind & Timir Biswas to sing the respective versions of the song.
'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is directed by Sukumar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The teaser shows Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj in a new avatar. Dressed in a saree, he beats goons in his Pushpa style. The video features the Jaathara sequence from the film. Jaathara, also known as Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara, is a festival to honour the Hindu Tribal goddesses, celebrated in the state of Telangana, India. Each year more than 10 million devotees visit this 4-day festival.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film will be released on August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun, the main lead of the film, received a National Film Award for his performance in the first part. The first part of Pushpa showcased power tussles set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
