Sai Prakash recently discussed his upcoming movie Bhagyada Balegara, which he says is a pure village-based movie. The film, which stars Shivrajkumar and Navya Nair, was shot in Chennapatna.
Navya Nair says, "This film is purely village-orientated and I play the role of Cheluvi. My character is very lively in this movie. The moment I heard about the story, I accepted the film without hesitation."
Bangles play a big role in the film because the lead actor is a bangle seller. In fact, one song sequence portrays Navya Nair wearing a lot of bangles.
This film is unique because it is devoid of commercial gimmicks. I play the role of Chennaiah, a bangle seller who becomes a prosperous man - Shivarajkumar
