Aamir Khan left the masses mesmerized when he released a fitness video that put his toil of transforming from an overweight man to a fit athlete for 'Dangal', on display. The makeover was only one among a series of physical transformations that have garnered accolades in the recent past. Now, hitlist has learnt that actor-producer Rana Daggubati too has embarked on a physical metamorphosis journey, one that can render the stories of the other B-Townies, pale.
Rana, who is currently shooting for both, 'The Ghazi Attack', and the sequel to his 2015 historic fiction 'Baahubali', is loosing and shedding pounds consecutively to meet the varied requirements of his looks in the films. While he needed to bulk up for 'Baahubali', Rana had to acquire a lean look for 'Ghazi', India's first war-at-sea film, which sees him in the role of a naval officer.

"When we started the preparations for Ghazi, we were still shooting for Baahubali, so there was a large difference in my body weight," says the actor, who needed a month-long break between the two shooting schedules to alter his look. He further adds, "For Ghazi, I had to turn vegetarian for two months to lose the muscles. I had to stop lifting weights and turn to cardio vascular exercises. Since I'm also a licensed scuba diver, and most of the film was shot under water, my training helped me to stay agile and fit."
