On Wednesday, reports did the rounds that an ARMY from Brazil was saved from theft after the robber assumed BTS's Jin is her military boyfriend.

As per reports, a 21-year-old fan in Brazil escaped robbery as she was carrying a photo of the group's eldest member Jin on her mobile phone case cover. She stated that she was getting on a bus at night near São José dos Pinhais, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, when the robber tried to attack her. The thief took away her phone but when he saw Jin’s photo on the cover in a military uniform, he assumed it was her boyfriend. He then returned the phone and ran away.

Jin aka Kim Seokjin had enrolled for mandatory military service in compliance with South Korean law on December 13, 2022. According to reports, Jin has been training at a front-line army division's boot camp in Yeoncheon, 60 kilometers north of Seoul.
