K-pop artists have dominated the night, securing most of the titles. BLACKPINK achieved their first win at the BBMAs, while NewJeans, a group making waves this year, took home a music award during their debut appearance on stage.

Surpassing BTS Jimin, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, and Twice, New Jeans, a new group, clinched their inaugural win at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. The group debuted in 2022 under ADOR, a branch of the HYBE LABELS. Their performance on the night made a significant impact, leading Billboard to release their acceptance speech.

BLACKPINK earned their first Billboard Music Award for their successful BORN PINK tour. Members of the K-pop girl group—Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa—marked this achievement, surpassing BTS' Suga D-Day and Twice's world tour for the top K-pop touring artist.
