BTS's Taehyung aka V recently announced the release of his brand-new debut solo album, 'Layover,' slated for release on September 8. He also released two tracks from his album, 'Love Me Again' and 'Rainy Days' along with their music videos - which has had ARMYs going wild on Twitter.

Taehyung did a livestream yesterday to celebrate the release of the first two tracks of his album. Fans know that V has been working on his carefully curated tracklist in preparation for his first solo album since many years and have been awaiting its release eagerly. In the live, V thanked ARMY for all the love they had shown his album and said that he was able to reveal several different layers of his inner self through these two tracks.

"Actually, HYBE could've prepared a cake and other things because of the pre-release but I wanted to celebrate here (at home)! Now that it's come out- I wanted to talk about and ask ARMYs how it is! Thank you~ I think I was able to show "myself" well. I'm Kim Taehyung, and I like these things, yes!"

Taehyung's stage persona has always been electrifying - his deep, sensual vocals combined with his attractive visuals and charisma have made him a powerful presence on stage. However, in contrast to this, V's musical style is much more understated and calmer (as Jungkook also confirmed in his Spotify 'Ball'terview for his release of 'Seven') - Taehyung's previous solo singles like Winter Bear, Sweet Night and Scenery have alluded to the jazzy, R&B, soul sounds that the artist leans towards and is inspired from. Layover also captures much of the same musical energy.

ARMY knows about the precious bond that Taehyung shares with his pet dog, Yeontan and the album is actually dedicated to him, with Tannie even featuring on the album cover!

In the 'Rainy Days' music video, Taehyung masterfully crafts a song rooted in the pop R&B genre for, infusing it with a distinct vibe by blending vintage percussion sounds seamlessly with contemporary drums. The accompanying music video, calm and subdued in nature, encapsulates V as he spends a leisurely day at home, seemingly thinking of someone special.

Whether it's the melancholy that charges the song or the evident display of Taehyung's endearing boyfriend vibes, every facet of the song and its music video resonated deeply with audiences. Notably, the video also garnered attention for featuring Yeontan, V's furry companion, whose cameo undeniably captured the spotlight. What ARMY especially fell for was that the entire video was tinted in hues of blue and yellow - the only colours that dogs are able to perceive! We admit, we teared up a little too when we understood that the music video was from Tannie's perspective.

Taehyung talked about his pet in his livestream, saying that he wanted to gift the first copy of the album to Tannie and requesting HYBE to create a NAVER profile for him since he had officially debuted!

However, in a surprising revelation, Taehyung shared that since he hadn't been able to bring Yeontan to Spain, the furry Pomerian spotted in the MV was not actually Tannie, but a very similar looking friend's dog! Leave it to BTS to drop bombs on ARMY!

Taehyung talked about how 'Love Me Again' is one of his favourite songs on the album. "I wish you could love me again, no I don't want anybody else" - V poured his heart out into the song in a retro-style music video which perfectly captures the ellipsis and meandering between timelines that is present in the ethos of the song. The video features polaroid-esque and bokeh effects, even including a vintage television set- the haziness only making the song even more sensual and alluring.

We look forward to Taehyung's personal and musical promotions for 'Layover' and listening to the entire tracklist!
