BTS member Jung Hoseok, aka J-hope, is currently fulfilling his mandatory service in the South Korean military for some time. The last piece of information we really received was of his promotion to Special Elite Class Warrior and some photos of himself in his uniform. The rapper and dancer, probably the most active BTS member on Instagram, used to share photos of his sartorial choices regularly on social media. That stopped after he enlisted; however, J-hope returns to social media whenever he can to share photos with the BTS ARMY, or comment on the posts of fellow members.

Now, BTS J-Hope there are new reports surfacing online that state that J-Hope is all set to host an international military cooking competition. However, South Korean Defence Minister Shin Won-sik put an end to the possibility by stating that the K-pop idol won't be hosting it to maintain quality in military duties.

BTS J-hope was ready to host the military cooking competition, but the South Korean Defence Minister, Shin Won Sik, scrapped the plan. During a National Assembly meeting, Minister, Shin Won SIk affirmed this decision. He is of the belief that despite J-jope's global fame, his military obligations remain the same as those of any other soldier.

According to the former plan, J-hope was set to host the segment alongside a TV announcer. The competition, which is in its fourth year, shows the cooking skills within the armies of South Korea, the US, and Singapore. It is scheduled to take place at the Korea Agro Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. in Yangjae Dong, Seoul.

J-hope is currently a Corporal Elite Soldier in the South Korean military. It's safe to say that while he's fulfilling his military service, BTS ARMYs have been missing him:

BTS as a band has been on hiatus since last year to pursue personal travels and musical projects. Two of the members, Bangtan's oldest, Jin and main dancer J-Hope enlisted in the army for their mandatory service duties. Fans have been missing the two energetic and sunshiney members of the squad and eagerly await little snippets from their day on Weverse or rare photos.
