ARMYs outraged over MAMA Award nominations

Mnet's MAMA Awards 2023 is one of the most prominent and hotly anticipated award ceremonies of the year. It is truly a celebration of the effort of K-pop groups, soloists, and numerous other Asian-based artists who have made huge strides in the K-pop world over the past year

Scheduled to happen at Japan's Tokyo Dome on November 28 and 29, MAMA 2023 is expected to attract artists of all levels of experience, due to its extensive range of nomination categories. While many details like artists attending, and the lineup, remain shrouded in mystery, the nominations and the announcement of voting have been released and fans are in two heads about it.

BTS ARMYs in particular are furious that while Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been nominated, RM and Jin have been left out. Check out some of their reactions:

Another group netizens noticed was left out, despite their domestic and international success was ENHYPEN. Given the number of HYBE groups nominated, fans were floored and angry at Mnet for excluding this group.

While it is impossible for Mnet to give every artist a nomination, netizens remain divided on whether the show is "rigged" or not.
