A sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been officially confirmed with cast members, including Robert Pattinson, and Zoë Kravitz, set to make an appearance.

Warner Bros Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich shared the news at CinemaCon 2022, without revealing any other details with regards to the plot, or the release. Reeves also reportedly added that more details would be revealed “in a CinemaCon to come.”

Pattinson’s The Batman, which released this year, depicted Bruce Wayne in his earlier years, and takes place in Year Two of Wayne taking on duties as the Dark Knight, while learning to be a superhero in Gotham. The film earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike, and enjoyed a successful run at the US box office.
