Robert Downey Jr. recently shared exciting pictures on Instagram of an outing with his co-stars from the upcoming film "Oppenheimer." The photos featured Downey with Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, and Matt Damon, against the backdrop of the New York City skyline. One of the pictures also had John Krasinski photobombing the group, adding an element of surprise to the photo.

He captioned the post, "Linking up with my Oppenheimer cast mates...wait, is that a Krasinski photo bomb or might there be a surprise cameo???"

Fans were delighted to see the cast spending time off-screen and were especially thrilled by the surprise appearance and potential cameo of Krasinski in the film. As if the adrenaline isn't running high enough!

In the image where Krasinski photobombs, a box of NYC thin crust pizza can be seen on the table. Looks like the group spent a chill weekend with pizza and beers across the brilliant NYC skyscape.

Brittany Broski commented, "I am crying! How did you get Cillian to smile!" The man of the hour, John Krasinski said, "Jazz hands." Damnit Jim, you kept this from us!

'Oppenheimer' is generating a lot of anticipation among fans and is set to release in the United States on July 21, 2023. The historical film is based on the Pulitzer Prize–winning biography "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer."

Based on the life of nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer who is widely regarded as the 'Father of the nuclear bomb', the film adapts the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin.

With a particular focus on the Trinity Test and the Manhattan Project which led to creation of the atom bomb, the movie also showcases the race against time of the Americans to finish building their bomb before Nazi Germany can complete theirs.

Director Christopher Nolan stated that no CGI whatsoever was used in Oppenheimer. He revealed that his crew opted not to employ any computer-generated imagery even in recreating the historic Trinity test—an essential part of the film. The Trinity test was the first-ever test explosion of a nuclear bomb in the deserts of New Mexico back in 1945.
