Captain America actor jokes if anyone has ‘even checked’ on the snowplough
Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans
Jeremy Renner can rely on actor-buddy Chris Evans to always be there for him. Shortly after the Wind River actor, 52, shared an update about his recovery and positive outlook post his snowplough accident, Evans, 41, reacted with a light-hearted response to his Marvel co-actor.

“That’s one tough m@#$%*&er,” the Captain America actor wrote after Renner posted a photograph of himself in a bed receiving physical therapy. He then asked, “Has anyone even checked on the snowcat?” referring to the PistenBully vehicle that was involved in Renner’s accident.
“Sending so much love,” the Lightyear star concluded, adding a single red heart emoji. Renner responded by showing that his sense of humour remains intact after his accident, writing back to Evans, “Love you brother. I did check on the snow cat, she needs fuel.”
Renner was run over by the extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment he owns while clearing the driveway and helping his neighbours remove snow after a significant snowfall in the area on January 1. He was immediately airlifted to a local medical centre.
The Mayor of Kingstown star suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries,” according to a statement from his representative, and underwent emergency surgery the following day.
