A special guest will kick off The Chainsmokers Memories Do Not Open Tour this year, the duo announced on their Instagram page.
Posting a video of the piano cover of their hit song "Paris" by Tony Ann, a Canadian pianist and composer studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, they added that they were so impressed by the rendition that they would take him along on their North American tour. Ann's previous works on the duo's singles have also garnered much attention from his fans.
What makes this collaboration particularly exciting is that Ann's talent has so far been under the radar publicly. He has about 8,000 YouTube subscribers and almost 2,000 Instagram followers.
