Soon after reports of Rihanna apparently considering reconciling with former beau Chris Brown, did the rounds, grapevine suggest her friends are pleading her to keep a safe distance.
"Her friends are shocked that she would consider it at all after everything he put her through. [They] want her to move forward, not backwards," a source told an international publication.
Brown had apparently assaulted the Umbrella singer a day ahead of the 2009 Grammy Awards ceremony. Rihanna was visibly bruised after the incident which followed her confrontation with Brown for cheating on her with another woman. He was on a six-year felony probation, which ended in 2015.
