Reese Witherspoon says she would love to reprise her role as Elle Woods if the third instalment of 'Legally Blonde' is ever made.

During an appearance on talk show Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, the 39-year-old actress shared her thoughts about the possible third 'Legally Blonde' movie, saying that the world's "ready to see Elle", reports a website.

"I think it would be cool. I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately," Reese Witherspoon said. "A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," she added.

Although Reese Witherspoon seemed to have immense interest in making the project, she said that she didn't know if the film would really happen. "I don't know. Call MGM," she said.
