The actor caused controversy when she hinted that the women who have accused the producer should have known what would happen if they went "into a hotel room alone". The Baywatch star has clarified, insisting that she was not blaming the victims, but stands by her claims that women "must be aware" of their surroundings. She said, "This is not victim blaming. [Weinstein is] a sexist pig. (But) there are a lot of self-protection courses." Anderson defended her comments by refusing to apologise.
