The stars paid tribute to Winfrey for being a self-made woman, reported Femalefirst.
Cruise who famously jumped on Winfrey's couch while discussing his love for Katie Holmes thinks that she has taught people how to "change" themselves. "You have always had the power to change lives," he said on the show.
Madonna admires the 57-year-old personality because she has shown people that hard work and determination pay off.

"It's no secret that millions of people are inspired by Oprah. She's a self-made woman who's been at the top of her game for over 25 years and is still going strong, encouraging people to dream big to work hard... no matter who you are or where you come from," she said.

Shriver, who recently split from 'Terminator' actor Arnold Schwarzenegger after it was revealed he had fathered a secret love child said, "You have given me love, support, wisdom and most of all truth.'
